Veggie Life

I've been a vegetarian for more than a decade. I've never read a better description of life as a normal, non-insane vegetarian than this article in Slate: Meatless Like Me. If you love your bacon and burgers, but want to understand where vegetarians are coming from, it's must reading. Unlike most other stuff out there, it's not a smug-athon.

BMW 2002

The coolest car ever; the 2002 was the basic BMW sedan from the early seventies which helped put BMW on the map in North America. My favorite catch-all BMW 2002 site is the BMW 2002 FAQ, which is a compendium of all knowledge for this great yet maddening little car.

Spay/Neuter

By some estimates, 8 million cats and dogs are euthanized in American shelters ever year. This is a shameful tragedy, which is entirely preventable were Americans to get their pets spayed and neutered. This site by the Humane Society of the United States is a great start to learn more about the importance of spaying and neutering.
